Fat is always easy to put on and so hard to remove. For some reason stomach fat seems to be particularly stubborn.

The dreaded 'muffin top' where a layer of fat hangs out over the top of your jeans is a nightmare for countless women.

Once you get to a certain age the body seems to want to lay down stomach fat even if you are not especially overweight elsewhere. Its just one of those things the body does for its own reasons.

Lots of peole work exremely hard to try to remov stomach fat only to find that it won't budge. They do huge amounts of exercise and are quite understandably frustrated by the poor results.

The problem is that they are actually going about it the wrong way and if they modified their routines they would see much better results.

Diet and exercise are they key to losing excess fat around the abdomen but it has to be the right diet and exercise. Some exercises are far more effective than others on stomach fat.

As far as food is concerned you need to help your body burn the fat by eating the right foods and steering well clear of the wrong ones.
